Flybe to offer Belfast, Newcastle and Norwich services from Newquay

News Thursday, 03 May 2012 09:58 Written by

Flybe has said it will launch three new domestic routes from Newquay’s Cornwall Airport to Belfast, Newcastle and Norwich from May 5 as part of its summer schedule.

The new routes will increase Flybe’s summer offering from Newquay to seven destinations including Manchester and London Gatwick, along with services provided by its franchise partner, Loganair to Glasgow.

Flybe UK managing director, Andrew Strong said: “We are strongly committed to the South West and to growing the number of destinations we offer from Newquay. The launch of our direct services to Belfast City, Newcastle and Norwich sees us responding to consumer demand, creating convenient and improved transport links to and from Cornwall.

"These new routes offer benefits for both leisure and business travellers and highlight Flybe’s commitment to giving our customers as much travel choice as possible and generally, to ‘Making flying better,” he added.

The carrier announced plans to expand its winter schedule from East Midlands Airport yesterday with new routes to Amsterdam, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Jersey.
